UFT Pro (LeanFT) 14.03 - Not able to retrieve cell value from Java able in Window base application

Hi All,

We have LeanFT 14.03 configured with Eclipse ( MARS) IDE. We have JavaTable and we are trying to get cell value.

Following is code base being use in the framework but we are not able retrive it. Could you please  help to get it correct. 

Window blottersCtrlBWindow = Desktop.describe(Window.class, new WindowDescription.Builder()
.title(new RegExpProperty("BCtrlB.*")).build());

Table regionTable = Desktop.describe(Window.class, new WindowDescription.Builder()
.title(new RegExpProperty("BCtrlB.*")).build())
.describe(Table.class, new TableDescription.Builder()
.attachedText("Region: ").build());
//.columnHeaders(new String[]{"ID"}).build());

regionTable.activateCell(4, "Name");

Was this issue happening before with a previous version or this is the first installation and use of LeanFT you do? Also, what is the version of Eclipse you are using?

Hi,

What do you mean by not able to retrieve the value? are you getting object not found error?

In the code you have provided I don't see an attempt to get a cell value, which should look something like:

Object cellValue = table.getRows().get(2).getCells().get(4).getValue();

 

Please provide more infromation regarding what are you trying to achieve and what kind of an error you get.
