UFT crashes often

It seems that this happens, when we try to write something into an excel-file but excel is already open by the user, who is running the testcase.

The last lines in logfile says:

2016-08-05 13:58:11,910 HP.QTP.FrontEnd.LegacyCommands [ 1] ERROR SystemCounterReservedObject:: SetRack(NULL)
2016-08-05 13:58:12,689 LogCatTestOps [ 1] ERROR The Record Replay Manager Rack has been terminated, but there are still objects which hold references to it Func=CRRManagerOwnedRack::Terminate File=e:\ft\qtp\win32_release\12.02.2374.0_clean\qtp\backend\recordreplay\rrinfra\qtrrmanager\app\qtrrmanager\rrmanagerrack.cpp Line=131 ThreadID=3632

We don't know about the path e:\ ... where that comes from and what UFT is trying to do there.

Can anyone help us please?

Go step by step below -

  1. I am sure you must have done that but just in case, please ensure windows compatibility and browser compatibility with UFT version you use.
  2. Disable UAC on your system.
  3. Looks like you are on version 12.02. Is it possible for you to upgrade to the latest version (12.53) and check?

I am getting this same message in my logfile.

2016-10-24 15:12:55,051 LogCatTestOps [ 1] ERROR The Record Replay Manager Rack has been terminated, but there are still objects which hold references to it Func=CRRManagerOwnedRack::Terminate File=e:\ft\qtp\win32_release\12.52.6851.0_clean\qtp\backend\recordreplay\rrinfra\qtrrmanager\app\qtrrmanager\rrmanagerrack.cpp Line=131 ThreadID=10844

Using windows 7 with UAC off and explorer 11 as the browser.
