UFT on virtual machine vs. PC (Performance)

Hi

We are currently considering switching our automated setup from a PCs to virtual machines.

My only concern is, that swithing to virtual machines the performnce of the test executes will go down. We have alot of GUI test.

Our current test PC is a 4 GB RAM, I3 Core running on Win7.

Does any one have experience of the performance between standard PC and Virtual machine test execution.

Re: UFT on virtual machine vs. PC (Performance)

Ideally there will not be any difference in performance after shifting to VM from Physical machine. Practically if you have more disk operations during execution then VM performance will be impacted (which depends on VM conf).

We have moved recently and did not see any impact in execution performance.
