Use 12.51 license with 12.02 or revert license back to older version?

I set up 12.51 license and UFT 12.54 and discovered that UFT 12.54 is not compatible with ALM 11.0. Is it possible to connect UFT 12.02 to the 12.51 license server? Is there a simple way to change my license key back to 12.01? I just see a rehost option but not a way to change the license version back.

Re: Use 12.51 license with 12.02 or revert license back to older version?

The licensing for UFT 12.5x is incompatible with previous versions of UFT. Previous versions of UFT use an entirely different license management software - Sentinel.

You cannot downgrade your license independently. You might be able to downgrade the license by working with HPE or the vendor through which you obtained the license.

If you already have a Concurrent User License key for the previous version of UFT and you did not exchange it for the newer version (if you bought the newer version license without relinquishing your older license) then you should be able to continue to use the older license on the Concurrent License Server on which it was originally installed. The license can't be installed on a different machine, though. so you would have to use it with the same machine. If you upgraded that machine to the license management software and key for UFT 12.5x, they you will have to uninstall that software.
