Using Git with UFT

Has anyone successfully used git with UFT?  I know they integrated Git into UFT in 12.5 but I haven't been able to use it.  I tried using "git init" inside of a folder, then I created a new GUI test and saved it to the folder.  However, when I right click on the solution, action, etc the git commands do not appear like in this video.  Are there other things I have to do to set up git?

I tried using git outside of uft on the command line, but I have major issues with the function libraries and OR.  I am using UFT 12.53.

Hi,

It would be a major overstatement to say that I successfully used Git with UFT,  but I have successfully set it up and tried it for a couple of hours! 🙂

This was on the other side a year ago and I cannot remember in detail all the steps needed to configure this.

Additionally, In this one year old thread, I posted my personal reflections on the Git<>UFT integrations - you might even get some tips from the information presented in there.

I use Git but not integrated with UFT.

You should check the following first, if you want to use it integrated:

1) Check the version of your Git Client. UFT needs 2.5.2 or later.

2) Check if your Git set up works correctly outside UFT, say via SourceTree
