<UFT Support Tip>How to make sure the browser version is 32 or 64 bit & is compatible with the UFT?
On a 64 bit OS, you will have 32 bit and 64 bit IE browser installed.
64 bit browser IE is located in the path "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" whereas 32 bit IE browser is located in the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe". You can right click on the iexplore.exe to make sure if it is launched from the 32 bit path or 64 bit path.
You can also check in the task manager to identify if the browser is 32 bit or 64 bit. For example in a 64 bit OS, every application in the process tab of task manager shows as .exe, where as if the application is 32 bit, it shows as .exe *32, similarly if your operating system is 32 bit, every application in the process tab of task manager shows as .exe, where as if the application is 64 bit, it shows as .exe *64
For chrome version you can check in the “About Google Chrome” section, which the details of the version mentioned.
Example: Version 41.0.2272.101 m - This is 32 bit version
