QTP Support Tip: QTP 11 hotfix: QTPJV_00068 - Prevents Freeze During Components Initialization

Hello everyone,

 

There is a new hotfix (private patch provided through support only) for QTP 11:

 

QTPJV_00068 - Prevents Freeze During Components Initialization

 

This hotfix fixes a problem that causes a specific java application freeze during components initialization.

Note: After installing this hotfix, you must also enable it by setting a registry value as described in "Hotfix Installation" below.

Hotfix Installation

==============

1. Ensure that you have administrative permissions on the QuickTest computer.

2. Double-click the self-extracting executable file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Create the required registry value: Under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mercury Interactive\JavaAgent\Java Add-in for QuickTest], add the a DWORD value called LateListenersRegistration and set its data value greater than 0.

 

 

This hotfix can be requested through a support ticket with HP Software Support, as this is a private hotfix with no external link.
