QTP/UFT Support Tip: Accessibility Checkpoint options are not saved with the test

Hello everyone,

When opening the accessibility checkpoint object in the object repository, the current settings for the checkpoint can show differences between multiple machines or users. The accessibility checkpoint options or checks are not maintained for existing test scripts (either for local or shared object repositories).

The options used by the accessibility checkpoints are actually saved in the object repository (being it local or shared). However, those will depend on the options selected for the current instance of QuickTest Professional (QTP)/Unified Functional Testing (UFT).

The accesibility checkpoint settings are modified from the Options dialog box (Tools > Options...) in the Advanced pane for Web controls (GUI Testing tab (UFT only) > Web > Advanced). The checks already saved in the object repository for the checkpoint must be enabled from the Web > Advanced pane at the time of the test run.
