Regular Expression Help

Jump to solution

Hi, I have a window that starts with certain text and then changes depending on what is being displayed.  So, I am wanting to put a regular expression value in for the regexpwndtitle in the repository.  Admittedly I really, really struggle with regular expressions so I could be way off.
A sample value for the window title is "Crew[2]: <unfiltered>" and the regex value I'm using is Crew.().  When I try these values on the regular expression evaluator in UFT I'm getting a match, when I put that value in the repository and try to use the 'highlight object' feature it tells me it cannot be found.
What should be the value for the regex I'm putting in?  In this example it needs to start with "Crew" and then be anything else.
Thanks in advance for any help
Erik

I could've sworn I had tried this already but the solution turned out to be using Crew.*
