Hello guys, I have faced new challenge here.

I have a WebList in my Web Application

Capture.PNG

Only thing I have known about these list object is It's Native object value (5002416427) that is stored in variable.

Example:  A = 5002416427

I want to select item by this Native property stored in value.

Pls tell me if it is possible ?

Best Regards

Re: Selecting dropdown with Native value

You may try to get all the list items from the WebList, then find the item value that contains the value you want, and select..

WebList.GetROProperty("all items")

You'll need to write some Vbscript code to split the items and comparing item values.

Re: Selecting dropdown with Native value

Have you tried using a regular expression?

staticText = "ACDESC_"

myVal = 5002416427

regEx = ".*"

Browser("A").Page("B").WebList("MyWeblist").Select regEx & staticText & myVal
