Ability to capture the version, Patch Levels and PSU through middleware discovery

Our patching team is looking to leverage uCMDB discovery to track/detect the middleware installed and running on servers.   

We had a high vulnerability attack on the Weblogic recently and would like to discover and track the version, patch levels and PSU.  Require the functionality to capture this information in uCMDB.  

Here are some of the expected functionality in order to help the security team for better tracking:  

1.  Possible solution to detect the patch and PSU though installed software

2.  We see some version information captured for weblogic in Running software and the version information capture is not complete.   

3.  With the data discovered by installed/running software, if a server has been patched  we are not seeing discovery capturing a change in the version.
