IDEA to add support for IdP attribute mapping to uCMDB tenant for SAML authentication

IDEA Use Case: Our customer is integrating CMS with SAML, so user access goes through adding the user to active directory group, user access CMS with his AD username and password and assigned to CMS group with is equivalent to that one in the AD.

 

- The current SAML solution doesn't support mapping IdP attribute to uCMDB tenant.

 

• The IDEA here is to include the ability to assign this user to a specific tenant while he's accessing the CMS.

• And also to create an example model of user, group, roles, and tenants relationships in our official SAML authentication documentation:
