Make fuse editable fuse to show max ci's and relationships for inventory cards

0 Votes

Hello,

When we want to open a OOTB inventory card with more than 35000 CIs and relationships it generates an error:

The results exceed the maximum number (35000) of total CIs and their relationships. Please use the 'Edit Inventory' option from 'Card Settings' to redefine your card query.

I opened an support case for this matter, but it seems that the fuse is hardcoded en cannot be altered. I want to have an fuse or setting to change this value.

Kind regards,

Gidarno

I get the impression you're hoping to raise this number higher than 35,000?  The reason we pegged it at this number is because of performance issues that will arise.  We are working to eliminate them and allow you to go above this limit, but until then it would be unwise to allow it to go higher.

Would you perhaps submit another ER that asks for the ability to expose >35,000 entries in the Inventory pages please?  That ER I can deliver over time.  But the one you've requested here can't be delivered because of the potential damage it would cause to the overall system.
