The identification rule for display devices should be changed

The identification rule for display devices should be changed. In shared desk environments, the same monitors are often used on different nodes. This leads to duplicate diplay device CIs in the UCMDB, which is a fault.
A new display monitor CI is currently being created for a monitor, if it was detected at a scan on a different node. This leads to double display device CIs with the same serial number.
The current identification rule dor display device CIs is :
"Display Monitors are identified by a combination of their container Node and name. Two similarly identified display monitors will be considered different entities in case of mismatch of Serial Number."
The identification rule should be changed so that the root container CI (in this case the node) is not taken into account.
Then, via the reconciliation mechanism, double display devices would be merged into one CI and the hardware inventory would be correct (no duplicate display devices with the same serial number).
