Comparing with TQL

Jump to solution

Hello,

We are trying to update a field with the Enrichment process in UCMDB. We need to compare values of two fields in the TQL if that gets passed then it should update a value on another field with Enrichment.. But I'm not able to compare the two fileds with TQL.I think I might be missing something. Can it be done with TQL itself or do we have any other way to achive this in UCMDB.

Example:

Field 1: abcd

Field 2: abcd

Then the required result should be as follows.

Field 3: Final value

Thanks in advance..

HI Jimmy,

You asked generic question, so I'll try provide generic answer.

It could be done with enrichment. Enrichment consist of two parts: TQL and enrichment definition. TQL describe input data and enrichment definition is about change of data.

For instance, you could create TQL where IP connected with Join relationship to Running Software. As condition you can apply IPaddress attribute is Equal to Application IP (abcd=abcd) see the screen shot.

Now, in enrichment definition you could assign any value of CI in results of TQL query.

For example, you could assign IP address value to Note attribute on Windows CIT (screenshot assign).

Please fell free to ask more detailed questions.
