This topic came up yesterday on the UCMDB Practitioner's Forum as well. The best answer I heard there was that one of our practitioners created a discovery pattern to go out and discover these ILOs and relate them to the correct host. Nothing great comes out of the box, and you may run into issues with using SNMP alone to interrogate them.
Hope this helps...

Greg;
If these ILOs (Integration Lights Out interfaces) are monitored by HP SIM (Systems Insight Manager), there is an integration for that. Could that help you?
Best Regards;

Hello,
I also have a requirement for native uCMDB ILO interface and configuration discovery. In an ideal world, it should cover all types of ILO we have , which includes Sun/Oracle and Dell. But in a realistic world, it would be a reasonable ER for HP to provide the relevant additions/edits to shell discovery scripts for HP server ILO discovery.
As far as I know, interrogating ILO for physical disk information is the only option, because in most cases the OS cannot see 'through' RAID controllers to get physical disk info via, for example, shell discovery jobs.
The HP SIM integration has an overhead that we are avoiding, in that you cannot tell it to just integrate specific items - e.g.. only federate/replicate ILO and Storage from HP SIM and not servers.. but that is another story.
