Discovery job populated attributes
Hi All,
How to check automatic attributes populated by a discovery job? and why some of the attributes are empty.
ex: 1) host connection by shell gives particular cit and its attributes like discovered os etc...
I can see discovered CIT's in the job details tab, but not particular attributes in that CIT.
Regards
Bhaskar

You are asking for something very specific in order to anticipate a result. It can't be done. The result is influenced by various factors that can't be predicted like discovery permissions, OS flavor and customization, etc...

I agree, But it should be documented for discovery jobs and their output attribute for perfect result of a job irrespective of permissions, os flavors.
Thanks for the reply

Well... I did this one time and it backfired in the most horrible way. The end customer understood that what ever he had in this environment he will have those attributes populated.
Having this documented is very close to a commitment and those are dangerous roads...
