HP uCMDB integration with EMC and NetApp

Hello,

I am newbie in this technology, I recently made the course HP uCMDB essentials.

I have a new project to integrate EMC and NetApp Storga to Hp uCMDB.

I don't know the versions of both the storage and the uCMDB.

Need someone to help me about:

• what questions should I ask my client to successfully perform integration

• recommendations or features that must be taken into account

I have thought the following questions:

• HP Version uCMDB installed and licensed modules (DDMI, ...)

• Version of EMC Control Center and OnTap

• Have already created / imported Type ICs for EMC and NetApp

Any help or advice will be welcome.

In case of new integration you need to understand what technology coul be used to retrive/pooulate the data (DB, webservices, APIs).

This will give you idea what UCMDB component could be used.
