LDAP Authentication for Users of HP Universal CMDB
Hello All,
While configuring the users for HP UCMDB 10.3X, I do not want to use any local password, I want it to be the AD password.
Please suggest how intergation can be done and LDAP authentication can be activated.
And also I do not want any groups information, that I will create in UCMDB, I just want the authentication to follow AD.
Thanks in Advance!!!

Version 10.33 is the only one officially called HPE UCMDB, mentioning this because too often it was referred as HP UCMDB,
We would recommend in following the guide and use standalone UCMDB Browser to achieve the LDAP mapping, there"s a module for this called LDAP Mapping. the same can be done from JMX console.
You will have the LDAP groups mapped from the AD user repository, we need a way to map them to permission groups in UCMDB so that's why we map them.
Keep in mind about LDAP over SSL, password policy, LDAP referrals and proper mapping in general.
