External backup drives missing in file explorer

Jump to solution

I perfomed a test backup of one of our guest OS VMs in ESXi.  The backup succeeded and the check verified.  I can see the backup in the backup explorer.  It's located on an external hard drive connected to my PC.  The problem is, file explorer only shows my C: drive and I can't figure out how to access the backup on my H: from file explorer.

When you go to the file explorer, only the "Default Local Path" (as defined in the "General Setting") will be shown in the first place.

To see all drives, you need to click to "Local Computer" first.

Attached screenshots will make it more clear.
