Hello,
i use a trail version (Micro Focus VM Explorer 7.1.001) and i have the Problem to connect to vCenter 6.7 u1.
The support (via chat or via email) can not help me with my problem, since I use a trail version.
The support can not provide me with the necessary hotfix.
I can not buy any software that i have not tested!!!!
Where can I download the hotfix?
Best regards
Carsten Volke

How about 6.7U2? It's been out for nearly a month.
Thanks.

I've tested the 7.1.2 hotfix, that was provided to fix 6.7U1, against the latest vCenter (13643870) and vSphere (13644319) builds this morning with success.
Hotfix is attached for those having trouble getting it.
Note that the hotfix comes with this warning:
The fixes in this Hotfix are only for the
symptoms and environment specified. This patch is a
hotfix only, and has not been completely regression tested.
If your VM Explorer environment has not been diagnosed
by Micro Focus as having this specific problem, installing
this patch may have detrimental consequences.

Really funny....
As a VM Explorer customer only, I can't register a case online. I have no SAID # which works...
only via chat I can register a ticket...
And - 7.1.1 is now older than 1 year - when do we get a version which works with ESX 6.7 U2?
on download it's still 7.1.1. - It's a shame...., over years I use VME, but never need to wait such long for a new version....

It´s not a mess, it is designed this way. You only get support if you have a valid support contract.

VM Explorer 7.1 has been released Jun 29, 2018 and will be supported until Jul 31, 2021.
As soon as new version is released, an end of committed support date will be communicated.
This is a normal procedure and is documented on the Software Product Lifecycle Portal:
https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com/web/softwaresupport/obsolescence-migrations#tab5
In parallel a license exchange program is in place. This allows a license swap form VM Explorer to Data Protector Express:
