I have the VM Explorer 7.1.001 free edition and I'm getting the message that I need to update and won't let me to continue. The link to download new version is not working and I cannot find it anywhere in Micro Focus web site.
Can somebody please provide the url link?

This same problem occurred to me. I tried to upgrade, but only have the option to repair or uninstall.
I'm waiting for a fix.
I created a new account and downloaded it, but still have the problem to update.
When I try to install, it only displays the option to repair or uninstall.
The installed version is 7.1.0 and the available version is 7.1.1.
This installation is limited as it expires. I use this software for almost 10 years and this is how it works ..
Since Micro Focus bought this system from HPE (formerly of Trilead), every time the free version expires, it has problems updating the limited version.
I opened a ticket, but so far no response from the support.
I've also created a ticket but so far I've only been bounced around between 3 different supports and they're all relaying me to some other departments.
Not really handled well if you ask me. Broken product and broken trial version. Even a freshly requested trial version has these issues (you need to download latest version....)
I think that's intentional. I have installed the software without Internet and have the same result. Too few have bought the software. ;) Installed on clean pc ..... too bad for the installation time
