Micro Focus offers a License Exchange Program from Virtual Machine Explorer to Data Protector Express as of the dates set forth below.
All Virtual Machine Explorer customers with an active support contract are eligible for a License exchange program to move to Data Protector Express

Access the Software Licenses and Downloads Portal using the following link:
(https://entitlement.mfgs.microfocus.com for US Government Solutions).
There will be 12 months months of concurrent support for moving to Data Protector Express.

That's very interesting. We have renewed VMX for two years a short time ago.
I hope that will provide support for the recent ESX versions until then, otherwise there would have been no need to renew.
