IOS vibe app auth fails after pwd change

Hi,

After changing password on edirectory the Vibe IOS app stopped to work. Catalina.out states "failed autentication" even the password is correct.

I think that the app caches the old pwd somewhere but even re-moving the app from device -> re-install does not solve the issue. Other user accounts from same device work ok. Have not tried on another device yet.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure about IOS but there are some special characters that the Android app won't pass to the server correctly. My boss had the problem and I think he ended up changing his pwd so he could access Vibe via his phone.

I'm not sure what the special characters were. Nothing too special, like foreign char sets or anything, just some of the symbols above the number keys on a US keyboard.
