Multiple LDAP sources

Hi all,

Hope this is not an already existing thread ...
I can't find any details about the way Vibe works with multiple LDAP sources defined (imagine 3 different ADs). I guess this is not for fault tolerance but how does it work ?
Vibe search in the different LDAP, respecting the order, and stop when the user account is found ?

Does anybody has experience with that or at least has some ressources for me to read ?

Many thanks in advance

Francois

Yes Vibe supports multiple LDAP directory sources (see the note below
step 4 in section 5.4 of the Vibe Installation Guide[1]) but it's
essentially as you've written - it stops when it finds a matching user
account.

Obviously the key thing with multiple directories is to make sure that
you have unique user accounts across all those sources as there's no
guarantee the correct account will be found when there are duplicates.

HTH.
