New Series : VisiBroker Performance Tuning

VisiBroker CORBA middleware has been the workhorse of many mission-critical systems (e.g. telecommunication systems) in the world. One of it's strengths is it's sophisticated thread and connection management mechanism which allows it to handle high request traffic efficiently and reliably. However, this can only be achieved with proper tuning of both VisiBroker and the user Application.

VisiBroker Performance Tuning is a series of articles explaining and demonstrating the effect of tuning some VisiBroker parameters which can affect performance. An example (with full source code, build and execution instructions) are also provided for illustrative purposes. This allows you to have some hands-on experience, and also see for yourselves the effect of tuning various parameters in your own environment.
