Visual COBOL vs personal COBOL licenses
Our institution is part of the academic initiative. Our labs have Visual COBOL 2015 installed - we will be moving to 2017 this summer. And those copies are managed by a license manager. The problem is that instructors also have a copy of Visual COBOL 2015 on their laptops. As long as they are connected to the university's network, and the license manager is accessible, the copy of Visual COBOL works. But once they go home, they are unable to use Visual COBOL. Is there a way for them to be able to work both on and off campus?
Do we just need to request a license for these machines to use?

We can set you up with local licenses for machines that require them. You should open up a support incident with Customer Support using your Academic Program serial number and we can accommodate you.
