Whats news in Visual Cobol 2.0 ?

If you look in the Visual COBOL 2.0 Help documentation go to Help-->View Help-->Micro Focus Visual COBOL for Visual Studio-->Welcome-->New Features for a list of new product features available in version 2.0 and all other versions as well.

We also have a What's New? datasheet for Visual COBOL 2.0 that is hot off the press.

It's currently being uploaded to our main website but you might find it useful in the meantime.I have attached for your information.

The next visual cobol version 2.1 was announced to be released september/october. Does there already exist a What's New datasheet and when will it be released ?

We are especially interested in generating pure java. Will these be also included for HP-UX Itanium in the 2.1 release ?

Hi Simon, Visual COBOL 2.1 is very nearly ready and we'll certainly post the What's New here on the Community site when 2.1 is GA.
