10.1.2 update

Hi,
can I delete the 10.1.1 update after the 10.1.2 update is applied?

Re: 10.1.2 update

Thsundel,

if you're 100% sure you won't need to install a new server, since
10.1.2 is not cumulative (so any new server would need to be installed
to 10.1, updated to 10.1.1, then 10.1.2)

hmm could that be documented somewhere OBVIOUS?

or let's make the update process in that way that you can't delete 10.1.1
if you have 10.1.2 downloaded TILL there is an update which is cumulative

HAHA.

Re: 10.1.2 update

BigDook,

no, the problem was that somehow, the check to ensure that you were
already on 10.1.1 wasn't working, so you could install it on to 10.1.0,
and that would mean that some things would no longer work. If people
read the instructions, and only installed on 1.1.1, there's no
problem,. but you can't always trust people to read instructions...

Are there any plans to distribute 10.1.2 via the system updates or will
it be a hotfix only ?

Re: 10.1.2 update

Albert,

10.1.2 will come back via system update, probably today if we're
lucky...
