11.3 upgrade, database purge running for 24 hours now

Server is SLES SP2 running zenworks 11.2.2. Database is SQL Server 2008R2, 22GB in size. The upgrade said there were just over 4 million records to purge. I am running a tail -f on loader-messages.log but that just shows activity, it doesn't show progress. I started the purge exactly 24 hours ago.

1. Any suggestions on how long this will take or how I can get some idea of progress?

2. I started the upgrade with all services running because I read that you only need to stop services on secondary servers, is that correct?

Re: 11.3 upgrade, database purge running for 24 hours now

Support says the purge can take 3 days or more, and you can run the purge with all services running on your primary server. The only indication you get that the purge is finished is the setup window you started with will say purge complete.
