Adaptive Agent Not Connecting To ZCM 11 Server

Hello Everyone. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to posting, but I will try to be a detailed and concise as I can be. I am encountering an odd error with the Zenworks 11 adaptive agent. The adaptive agent will log into the eDirectory tree fine. but when the use is in their desktop, they do not have any bundles appearing on their Zenworks pages. From what i have gathered it seems as if the ZCM agent will not connect to the server. This is quite odd, as the firewalls are down, and the two can ping each other. I have attached two images of what I see on the stations. If you need any more images, I will be happy to oblige. I feel as if this is one of those situations where I did something simple wrong. Maybe I'm missing something.

How did you go about installing the Adaptive Agent? Did you push it out from the server, or did you copy down the client and run it on the workstation? I can tell you that the agent doesn't know where the server is which is why is doesn't connect. I have seen this happen here a couple of times, and I usually run the Zen Removal Tool and deploy from the server again at which point it completes.

Also, does the workstation appear on the Zenworks Server Console?

The agent was downloaded from the ZCM's zenworks-setup site. It was the 64-bit network installer. The workstation does not appear in the console.

Try pulling it off with the Agent Cleanup tool and deploy it from the server.

it's the same agent, so which ever method you use to deploy it won't
change that...

The agent doesn't know where the server is. Did you install the agent on the workstation from the Zen console or did you copy the installer down to the workstation and launch it from there. I've seen this before, and I usually run the Zen Agent Cleanup Tool then re-deploy from the server console.

Does the workstation show up on the Zen console? I'm guessing it doesn't.

I have seen this every so often. Some times the agent installs, but just
doesn't register with the server. So I manually register (zac register
https://<server_dns_address>) and everything is good.

If the machine is a Windows 7 SP1 you need the patch on the server-side so
that the machine can register. You can download the patch here.

This might actually be the problem. SP1 is loaded on the machine. My boss will download the update today and we will install it. Hopefully that will allow this device to join the server. I will post later with the results. Thank you.

Success! Sp1 was the issue. I have full connectivity with the management zone, server Dns, and server IP. Thank you everyone.
