Applying transforms to a MSI package

I'm trying to figure out how all of this software packaging with AdminStudio
ZEN Edition stuff works and I'm not finding a lot of useful information.
According to InstallShield, you shouldn't snapshot software that is already
distributed as a MSI package but should use the tuner to create a transform
instead. My problem is that I can't figure out how to apply an MST file to
an MSI package when creating the application object in ConsoleOne. It only
has the option for the MSI.

Can someone explain this to me or point me to another source for the answer?

you create an application object from an msi package... you can than point
it to the mst...

Thanks for your reply. I found the place to add the transforms in the
Application Object property sheet under the MSI tab. I should have looked
first but I'm new to software packaging with MSI and I'm finding the whole
thing confusing.

Re: Applying transforms to a MSI package

Make sure you have the current ConsoleOne with the ZEN 6.5 snapins
installed. Transforms (MSTs) are applied under the MSI tab of the app
object.

You can download the AdminStudio manual from the InstallShield web site.
