Bundle content inaccessible

Hi,

So, we have a groupwise bundle that has been deployed to all machines, and lately its been saying bundle content is not available even though it is installed already.
We are running ZCM 11.2.3a and Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64.

I was the first one to experience the issue when i turned on my pc at home. At first i thought that it might be because i didn't have access to the work network, so i logged on the vpn, and logged in to novell client, but still the issue remained.
Now more users are experiencing, but it isn't just from home, this can also happen at the workplace.
At the workplace it can sometimes be fixed by a reboot, but otherwise i have to create a shortcut for the grpwise.exe fo them to use instead of the zenworks icon.

This is the error that the bundle returns.

Full Message:
The content for bundle GW2012 is not currently available. Please try running later.

Re: Bundle content inaccessible

Hi

So no changes have been made to this bundle?
This could sound like a cache crash issue... but maybe not.
When you try launching the bundle, at the office, it works ok?

Oxyprime,

Any reason you are not on 11.2.4 or later?

Re: Bundle content inaccessible

Yeah, no one knew much about zenworks.
The guy who did, quit and i am now filling the position he had, and i never heard about Zenworks before that.
So, still learning. Also some of the basics like upgrading.

In regards to the issue at hand, is it a known issue that is solved in 11.2.4 or later since you ask?

Hard to say, some cache related issues has been resolved in later versions,
so could be 🙂

I'll prioritize the update to 11.2.4 so i can test if this could fix the issue then.

Once done, i'll post an update here, just in case others might have the same issue.

I'll probably ask a lot more questions in here 😄

You could go for 11.3.1 when you're at it?

No problem, just shoot 🙂

Not as such, but as others have pointed out: Lots of cache-related
issues are fixed in 11.3
