Cannot download update due to insufficient storage space

Looking at updating from 11.4 Linux appliance to 11.4.2 but get "Cannot download update due to insufficient storage space on download server.

What would you recommend to be the best path to take? I'm unclear on how to increase that directory or if it is better to implement a new 11.4.2 appliance and migrate it over? Thoughts?

See this thread about Storage Expansion.

Access the Appliances Mgmt Screen @ https://server:9443
Logon as ROOT
From this interface there is an option to expand your storage.
The thread above covers some fixes if it is not working.

!!! BEFORE EXPANDING BACKUP THE ENTIRE VM.  I HAVE SEEN FAILURES CAUSE CORRUPTION !!!

(No: Not Just a Snapshot....Snapshot may not recover the corruption...Backup the VM.)

See - https://www.novell.com/documentation/zenworks-2017-update-4/zen_ca_appliance/data/storage.html

You will likely need to be logged on as ROOT.   If you are not seeing the options in your VMware/ESXi console, then that would be more of a question for them.

Note: Instead of expanding, it is also possible to create a 2nd Virtual Disk and add a mount point adding to that.  This, however, adds some complexity and most likely you would want to be somewhat familiar with Linux Prior to doing this.
