Deletion of Managed Workstations

Sles 11 and ZCM 11.2.1

When deleting managaed workstations from ZCM console, it takes a very long time to delete items.. everything else seems to be snappy.. This started appearing after we upgraded to 11.2.1 after we had been running 11.2

I just asked it to delete 30 managed windows workstations.. after telling it to delete them, i do a refresh and about ever 5-7 minutes it deletes them one by one...takes over a hour to finally delete all 30 devices... anyone else having this issue and any ideas on how to speed it up ???

Hi, we also see this "bug" (is it a bug?) on our side. It can take a few minutes before being able to delete multiple workstations in the zcc console. We already checked our database, the space left on the server, etc. It's not a show stopper. So we decided to let it be and wait to see if it disappears with future updates.

Re: Deletion of Managed Workstations

Same thing here. I've got an SR open with Novell. Basically if either of you could ALSO open an SR. They'll need the database transaction logs from the time the workstations were deleted. So if you're using the embedded Sybase database, it'll probably be pretty easy to get those.
