Dell docks do not show up in Inventory
In inventory none of our Dell WD15 or TB16 docks show up. They are
modern USB-C and Thunderbolt devices so i figured inventory would detect
them. Monitors, printers, etc. that are running off of them do show up.
Is this something other are seeing?

Re: Dell docks do not show up in Inventory
An SR would likely be a good route.....
Asked around, an SR is likely best to figure out what should happen here....

But FYI see....

Not sure Dell Exposes them to be collected by Inventory....
Seems to be an Unanswered Question......
If it does not appear

Re: Dell docks do not show up in Inventory
What will likely be necessary is....
#1 - Ask Dell the WMI Commands to Collect this data.
(Note: This will likely Require the Installation of Dell Specific Software based on the comments above....but not even sure this will expose the needed data.)
#2 - Assuming Dell can provide the WMI commands, it may be possible for ZCM Inventory to add those queries.....but that is iffy since this is getting very vendor specific needing their software.
But at a minimum, would need to find out from Dell if possible....
So far I'm finding Zero hits where Dell has indicated this data is exposed over WMI for data collection purposes...
