Re: Discovery tasks pending
No patchlink jobs are running if that is what you meant. Obviously daagent
may be runing in the background on some but, not all. I ran an IP
discovery on my LAN here(50 PCs)

Re: Discovery tasks pending
Bobby,
I'm surprised you didn't take advantage of the fixes in 10.0.1?
Generally I've seen this happen when the server is just basically busy
doing other stuff.

Re: Discovery tasks pending
I have looked all over and cannot find out how to get the version. I
thought it was 10.0.
What does 10.0.1 offer?
The server is not busy at all so that isnt the problem.

Bobby U,
> What does 10.0.1 offer?
A lot of major fixes. I would highly recommend that you install 10.0.1
if you have not put much time into your current installation.
You can download 10.0.1 here.

No, you must install ZCM fresh.
THere isn't an official list, but issues with the agent and the server.
You can see the current zcm version by authenticating to the ZCC,
selecting devices and viewing the details of the zcm server.

Re: Discovery tasks pending
Are you saying i need to uninstall 10.0 from the server, reboot the
server, and reinstall the new 10.0.1 version?
I have opened the devices/servername/ andlooked under all my tabs. I
cannot find a version anywhere.

Yes, that is what I am saying. Or wait for the Novell updates to be
made available again, but that could be a while from now.
See the agent version listed in this screen-shot?

Re: Discovery tasks pending
Thanks for the screen shot i went right to it. I saw your version was
listed under agents. i opened my server proerties screen and i have
nothing listed under agents. I guess i should see something that states
"Bundle Module x.x.x" nothing is there. Is that my problem. DO i have to
reinstall the agent to the server for this to work?

That is bad. Does the server have a firewall?
Look at the zmd.log in "program files\novell\zenworks\logs\localstore"
