Dynamic Admin Not Copying Files

Hello Everyone

to give a quick breakdown of what we need helpwith, it requires a little backstory. To distribute something for office 2010, we need to deploy admx and launguage files to C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions. The problem is, trying to copy them over from our location on the system isn't going so well. Trying to copy with both the secure system user and the dynamic admin both create problems with insignificant rights. For some reason the Dynamic Admin doesn't have admin rights. Is there a way to either fix him, or force the file copy to run as a local admin on the machine?

We are running ZCM 11 trying to copy on Windows 7 64 bit machines using Novell Authentication.

Version specifically? Ie 11.0, 11.2? 11.2.2?

OK. Is there any particular reason not to be at 11.2.2? Just asking
because 11.0 is pretty old by now.

Re: Dynamic Admin Not Copying Files

We are at a school and over the summer we migrated our cluster from OES to SLES, so we really didn't get a chance. The winter break might be our best oppertunity, but I don't know if we'll have the chance then. Does one of the patches fix this issue?

I am not sure, but there has been several fixes to areas like that over
the years. Upgrading from 11.2 to 11.2.2 fixed one annoying issue for
us for example. Upgrading is quite painless, especially if you follow
the docs.

Re: Dynamic Admin Not Copying Files

Are you sure you do not have some weird NTFS permission issues on those
devices.

That is where I would start looking.
