Failed to report

Hi all
I've assigned a patch to a device, it's picked it up and eventually says its "Avaliable YES". (Note the capitals which was a change in 11.2.1). But the server still reports that the device has not patched up. So ran "zac ps" which reports

Starting patch scan.....
There was an error scanning the computer. FAILED_TO_REPORT_RESULTS.

I have the "02f5....229.state" file but not a .plron or .plr file.
Thoughts appreciated.

I have also been seeing this same problem with zcm 11.2.1 on some systems.
