updating the remediate and analyze files is 3rd on my list now that I
am back from vacation - first is 11.1a (and the agent update), second
is a ZESM update, and third is the patch stuff... the good news with
11.1/11.1a is that new versions of analyze and remediate can just be
dropped on the server, and the next time a subscription run happens,
the DAU will deliver the new files tot he devices automatically...

We are on 10.3.3 and have the same issues. I believe we tried the mentioned patches above. We are so frustrated with Patch Mgmt we are about to punt it and get something else.

We are also getting this on 10.3.3. I'm trying to raise an SR via our reseller, but they are dragging their heels. I would love to upgrade to 11.1a, but the absolute mandatory requirement for Oracle 11g R2 is preventing me from doing so right now (11g R1 just isn't good enough apparently).

if all goes well there will be a new remediate and analyze available
this week - I'm actually on my way across the Atlantic today for a week
in Provo before BrainShare week, and one of my tasks for this week is
to put out updated files for 10.3.3., 11.0 and 11.1 - just waiting for
a last update from Lumension, and with any luck that will be waiting
for me when I arrive tonight...

Our servers are 10.3.1 and managed devices are 10.2.2 and this problem bit us too. In a panic attempt to find a solution we copied the exe's from the patch to our workstations. Looks like it fixed the majority but still have some that are failing to complete analyze.exe. Is this to be the final solution or will a new fix be revealed?

there's more to come, I spoke to the developer today and he's working
on another fix to be included - note that this will be for 10.3.3, 11.0
and 11.1 - I have no idea if they'll work on old versions like you have

the developer still hasn't given me the update, apparently he's been
waiting for feedback from a customer that was testing the fix 😞 If I
get it today, I /should/ be able to get it ready over the weekend (but
I'm presenting at a TTP
(http://www.novell.com/industries/education/ttp_su.html ) conference on
Saturday, so my time's a little limited (and I need to finish a
presentation for Brainshare next week, and Monday all day I'm in
training) 🙂 So I'll do my very best, but no promises

We are running a bunch of tests in a 10.3.3 testzone. Upgrade to 11.1 wont be possible until Everything Helpdesk reaches a "compatible state", I think they will take until end of 2012 😞
