How to enable the Quick Launch bar in Windows 7?

Hi,

we're trying to figure out how to enable the Quick Launch bar in Windows 7. We're not able to turn the Quick Launch on for users with a restrictive policy. Is there a way to force the Quick Launch on?

There is one workaround where we make the shortcut from to Quick Launch directory (in the users profile) to the Start Menu. But with this workaround the ZCM Bundle icons do not appear on the 'fake' Quick Launch bar.

Is there another workaround to make the Quick Launch visible to restrictive users and also put the ZCM bundle icons on it?

Kind regards,
Patrick

Re: How to enable the Quick Launch bar in Windows 7?

i've never had any luck with making this work and gave up a long time ago
it's all to do with the pinned icons replacing what was the quick launch function we all knew in XP

I use a vbscript as a login event per user to deliver icons to the pinned menu (they're not ZCM ones though, but it's functionally similar unless you have chained launch actions in your ZCM bundles?)
