Inventory a custom application

We have several internal corporate applications installed on some desktops in our environment. These apps are installed and appear in add/remove programs just like every other app, but do not appear in any Zen Inventory reports. These are our own internal apps, so I don't think it makes sense to have Novell include them in the PRU. Is there a way to get the inventory scanner to recognize these apps within our system?

Yes it's possible, take a look here: Novell Doc: ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Asset Inventory Reference - Creating Local Software Products
