Re: Login Issue after upgrading zo 11.1 on Win7SP1 WS

Hi all,

had been on holiday for 2 weeks.
To go back to the point: All reinstalling did not help.

The Novell Identity Service is not there, but it is not there on working XP machines either.
Do you mean the Novell Identity Store? Its there and running on both - working XP and not working 7SP1

Re: Login Issue after upgrading zo 11.1 on Win7SP1 WS

Lis,

darn, the problem we have identified (and are nearly ready to release a
fix for) with CASA is one that leaved the Novell Identity Store service
missing...

Shaun:
Great to hear that. Looking forward for the release.
But again: Service "Novell Identity Store" is there and running on broken Win7SP1 workstation.

Unfortunately Shaun,
I think the symptom for Lis completely different since reinstalling
the Agent and all of the CASA components do not help in this case.

I would not expect the CASA fix to help

Re: Login Issue after upgrading zo 11.1 on Win7SP1 WS

Hi
Yes we are having the same issue after the 11.1 upgrade. All went well at the server end but the windows 7 32bit workstations are randomly coming up with this issue:(

AND i found another one that hepled me out right now....

the command "zac retr" retrusts the zone and seems to renew the certs. after that i could login without reinstalling anything.

Gertfried: Thx for the link. I repaired the MSIs - no luck. I completely
deinstalled (reboot) / reinstalled MSIs - no luck at all.
