Mac OS X with Agent - how to prepare for cloning?

On Windows one would use Engl, which unregisters workstation, making it
resister again after clone process

How does one unregister Mac device from client (I can do it from ZCC
ofcourse) and how does one register Mac device from bash?

Re: Mac OS X with Agent - how to prepare for cloning?

Sorry, wrong forum (should have posted in Mac OS X agent)

But just noticed that a bloke asked same question there 9 months ago - http://forums.novell.com/novell-product-discussions/endpoint-management/zenworks/configuration-management/zcm-11/zcm11-agent-deployment-mac/457302-prepping-mac-imaging.html

with no replies. Makes me wonder how Novell expect people to use their products?

Spgsitsupport,

checkout the FAQs for the forums: Novell do not officially monitor the
forums (I spend some of my time here, but that doesn't constitute an
official presence). If you have an urgent question, then a Service
Request would be the correct way to go.

I know, that was nothing more then observation.

The cost of SR is more then my licensing (another one of Novell great inventions!), so nothing ever is URGENT for me!

Spgsitsupport,

so I guess you're getting the Academic discount, which is why support's
not included?

Re: Mac OS X with Agent - how to prepare for cloning?

We haven't really changed our imaging process for Mac's in regards to ZEN. Same as it ever was. Only now we include the ZEN install as a post image script. Our mac image is extremely sparse. We push all of the apps after the fact with ZENWorks.
