Migrating ZCM 10.3.4 Windows to ZCM 11.2 Virtual Appliance ?

Hello,

is there an best practice to move from zcm 10.3.4 windows 2003 r2 x64 to zcm 11.2 virtual appliance ? We had only one primary server and no others.
I've found nothing to this kind of migration.

The appliance should be able to be used this way as it is the normal
upgrade path for a 10.x to 11.x appliance upgrade, but I have not

I asked Novell and the only _supported_ way would
be to upgrade the server to 11.2, then use the disaster recovery
methods to replace the server...
