New Server, old agents
Asking for another school, before I give him the wrong information. I know how to update agents through System Updates, but if his OLD 11.1 server crashed, then re-registered them with the NEW 2017 server, will it show up as a System Update to deploy to the old workstations?
I know at one point I deleted a base update, so it could deploy the SP, so had to re-import the original update, but wasn't sure how to proceed with a newly built server.
To simplify:
Old 11.1 crashed
New 2017 built and machines registered
How to update 11.1 agents on existing machines?

FarmersLSD,
mount the ISO image on a Primary server, or burn the image to physical
media and mount on a Primary server
At the command prompt, run the following command to import the update:
Windows: zman sui [mounted drive]\Common - e.g.,
zman sui D:\Common
Linux: zman sui [mounted drive]/Common - e.g.,
zman sui /media/[iso name]/Common
at least that's how it's worked up to now, so I imagine it's the same
for 2017

Still works the same.............
Do on the Weekend or after hours.....
There is some glitch will it will want to re-apply the 2017 Update to the New 2017 Server.
No real harm but it will end up have the services restart while it figures out there is not much to do since it is already 2017.
