Office Install progress

I have seen a bunch of posts about using the "Install Directory" action to copy down Office (other large applications) and then to launch the executable with the Dynamic Administrator. This works okay for smaller applications but for larger ones like office you cannot see the progress window from the office installer because it is running in a different session. Am I doing something wrong here. This does not seem to be a good solution if you can’t see a progress bar our users freak out. Anyone have any ideas, by the way you can run this as logged in user but then the UAC prompts you because the application wants to make systems changes, so we don’t want that.
Thanks, Bill

Re: Office Install progress

Hi Bill,

What if you set "Show Bundle Activity" to yes. You will still not see the progress bar but you will see a zenworks information box showing that Office is installing.

Regards,

Marc
