Server/Workstation Removal Schedule

Jump to solution

Hello,

We have in the last 6-12 months replaced over 100 PCs and have changed our Workstation Removal Schedule to 90 days, which is set to Remove (not flag).

We have machines which have not been contacted since 2019, but they are still present.

Is there something else I need to setup/check for this to automatically remove these devices?

Thanks, Daniel.

Devices previously "Flagged" will not "Delete" when you change the Zone to Delete instead of flag.  The change only applies to NEW devices that hit that mark.

Simply use "Advanced Search" in the ZCC to locate all devices with a Last Contact Older than XX.  Then manually delete them using the ZCC.

Do any of the devices show if you run the query:

select * from zZENObject where tobedeleted=1;

I might suggest also looking loader-messages.log and service-messages.log files for references on the hostnames and/or IP addresses and/or GUIDs of those machines. I might give more information.

Are any of these satellite servers?
