Simple ZCM Certificate Question!

Hi All

This is a really silly question but for your second primary server do you issue a second set of external certificates for this, or can you use the original set bearing in mind they were generated with the original servers DNS name?

Im sure the second server will need its own generating i just wanted confirmation.

Cheers
Julian.

Re: Simple ZCM Certificate Question!

Because of the certificate design of ZCM. The second server generates it's own certificate from the primary servers configuration. Because the workstations import the first servers ROOT CA or the CA that you specify during the install, than the other machines are able to verify that the second server is valid and will automatically accept the second servers cert.
