So, did 10.3 get retracted?

I checked for updates yesterday and 10.3 was available for download. Decided to wait for the 'me first' factor to die down a bit and today checked for updates and got the April PRU, but the 10.3 update no longer shows as available. Quick scan of the forums seems a lot of people having issues with the update. Did it get pulled?

Is there any word on how to rollback the update when it fails on install?

WOW....

Glad I waited.

I like how 10.2.2 is working for us. May never upgrade 🙂

Re: So, did 10.3 get retracted?

This isn't the first time this has happened. It would be nice is Novell would release some sort of announcement to the effect that they messed up, pulled the Service Pack, and will have a solutions shortly. I guess not, instead we have to find out about it on their forum that provides no official support. For us that have already applied Service Pack 3 are we left to wonder if our installation of ZENworks will have all kinds of issues or worse, even be rendered inoperable?

Re: So, did 10.3 get retracted?

Well, Shaun did notify us in the forums.... There was a public email about the initial release but not the retraction.

I think Shaun should just send us all a case of beer so that we can wait patiently for a resolution.... Does England even make any good beer anymore? Craig could pitch in too....

Re: So, did 10.3 get retracted?

I would recommend always doing the Manual Download of any Patches
instead of System Update.

If you do a manual download, the system records your email address and
if there is any issue with the patch or important related information,
you should get an email to that address.

Patches downloaded via SystemUpdate in the ZCC do not record your eMail
address and therefore they do not have an address to send the email.

TIDs in this case are created.

In regards to the System Update, if you upgraded successfully as many
have you should be fine. If you are having an issue with the update, I
would recommend opening an SR to work through the issues.

Re: So, did 10.3 get retracted?

Out of curiosity, since TID 7005581 isn't particularly informative, if
I've already successfully applied the update to both of my Primary
Servers and all but one of my satellites (and a bunch of workstations
too) and I'm not seeing any issues, should I be worried? So far, 10.3 is
looking really solid for me and the ZCC is flying for the first time
since implementing ZCM.

What's the nature of the DB Schema errors? Is there something I should
be looking for?
